Can I pay 5 lakh through UPI?

The standard UPI daily transaction limit for most payments is ₹1 lakh (₹1,00,000) as per NPCI regulations. However, higher limits are available for specific categories. You can pay ₹5 lakh through UPI for IPO applications and the RBI Retail Direct Scheme. For other standard transactions like Person-to-Person or Merchant Payments, the ₹5 lakh amount exceeds the ₹1 lakh limit.
