what is pan card password
The PAN card password is a security feature required to open the e-PAN card PDF file downloaded from the official NSDL or Income Tax e-filing website.
- For individuals, the password is your date of birth in the DDMMYYYY format. For example, a birthdate of 15th March 1985 would use the password 15031985.
- For companies, Hindu Undivided Families (HUF), or Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP), the password is the date of incorporation or date of formation, also in DDMMYYYY format.
- The 8-digit password must be entered without any spaces, special characters, or punctuation marks.
