How to verify your pan card

To verify your PAN card, visit the official Income Tax Department's e-Filing portal. This service allows you to confirm if your PAN is active and if the details match the official database. Follow these steps:

• Navigate to the portal and select 'Verify Your PAN' from the Quick Links section.
• Enter your 10-digit PAN, full name, date of birth, and a valid mobile number.
• Submit the details to receive a 6-digit OTP on your mobile.
• Enter the OTP and click 'Validate' to view your PAN status and authenticity.
