You can sign your PAN card application either physically or digitally. For a physical application form, affix your signature within the designated box on the right side of the form and across the photograph on the left. For online e-PAN applications using Aadhaar OTP, the signing is done digitally through an eSign service where you authenticate with a one-time password sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. If you receive a physical PAN card without a printed signature, you must sign the card manually on the white strip with a permanent black marker for it to be considered valid.
