how to link aadhar with pan card online
You can link your Aadhaar with your PAN online through two main methods: the Income Tax Department's e-filing portal or via SMS.
- To use the e-filing portal, click 'Link Aadhaar'. You must first pay the mandatory ₹1,000 penalty through the 'e-Pay Tax' service if the system shows 'Payment details not found'.
- After payment, submit your PAN and Aadhaar details, with your name matching your Aadhaar, and validate using an OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Alternatively, you can link via SMS by sending 'UIDPAN [Aadhaar] [PAN]' to 567678 or 56161.
