how to link aadhar card with pan card

You can link your Aadhaar card with your PAN card online through the Income Tax e-filing portal or by sending an SMS. Before linking, please note that a fee of ₹1,000 is currently applicable.

• Visit the official Income Tax e-filing portal and click on 'Link Aadhaar' under Quick Links.
• Enter your PAN, Aadhaar number, name as per Aadhaar, and your mobile number for OTP validation.
• Alternatively, you can send an SMS to 567678 or 56161 in the format: UIDPAN <12-digit Aadhaar number> <10-digit PAN number>.
