how to link aadhar and pan card
To link your Aadhaar and PAN card, use the official Income Tax e-filing portal. A mandatory fee of ₹1,000 must be paid first via the 'e-Pay Tax' service.
- Visit the Income Tax e-filing portal and click 'Link Aadhaar' under Quick Links.
- Enter your PAN and Aadhaar number and click 'Validate.'
- If prompted, use 'e-Pay Tax' to pay the required fee and wait for its verification.
- After payment is verified, submit your linking request and validate with the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-registered mobile number.
