How to check pan card name change status

You can check your PAN card name change application status online using the portal where you submitted your request, either Protean (formerly NSDL) or UTIITSL.

• Visit the official Protean website, select the 'PAN - New/Change Request' application type, and enter your 15-digit acknowledgement number to view the status.
• If you applied through UTIITSL, use their tracking portal and enter your Application Coupon number or existing PAN number along with your date of birth.
• For quick updates, you can also check the status via SMS by sending 'NSDLPAN \<15-digit acknowledgement number\>' to 57575.
