How many Indians have PAN?

As of recent estimates, over 70 crore PAN cards have been issued in India. Almost all taxpayers, businesses, and many individuals use PAN for financial transactions. With mandatory Aadhaar-PAN linking, the government aims to ensure broader coverage and eliminate duplicate or fraudulent PAN cards.
