You can change your name on your PAN card online or offline through the authorised portals of Protean (formerly NSDL e-Gov) or UTIITSL.

• Visit the respective portal and select 'Changes or Correction in existing PAN data'.
• Fill the PAN change request form, checking the box next to the name field to indicate a correction is required.
• Submit the form along with valid supporting documents (such as a marriage certificate or Gazette notification) and pay the applicable fee.
• The application can be submitted digitally using e-KYC/e-Sign or by physically forwarding the documents.
