How to submit income tax return

To submit your income tax return (ITR) in India, follow these steps on the official e-Filing portal:

• Log in to the income tax e-Filing portal using your PAN and password.
• Navigate to e-File \> Income Tax Returns \> File Income Tax Return.
• Select the relevant Assessment Year, filing mode (Online), and ITR form type.

• Complete the process by e-verifying your return via Aadhaar OTP, Net Banking, or EVC within the stipulated timeframe.
