How to get evc code for income tax return

To get an Electronic Verification Code (EVC) for your income tax return, you can use any of the following methods:

• Net Banking: Log in to your bank’s portal and select the e-filing link to generate the code.
• Aadhaar OTP: Use this option on the e-filing portal if your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar.
• Pre-validated Account: Generate EVC using a pre-validated bank or demat account on the e-filing portal.
• Bank ATM: Insert your debit card at a supported bank ATM and select the option to generate EVC for income tax.
