How to e verify income tax return

To e-verify your Income Tax Return (ITR), visit the official e-filing portal. You can complete the process by following these steps:

• Log in to the e-filing portal and navigate to the e-Verify Return option under the e-file tab.
• Choose a verification method: Aadhaar OTP, Net Banking, or an Electronic Verification Code (EVC) generated through your bank account, demat account, or ATM.
• Enter the received code to instantly validate your return.
• Alternatively, you can verify without logging in by providing your PAN, assessment year, and acknowledgement number on the portal's homepage.
