To reprint your driving licence, which is officially called issuing a duplicate DL, you should apply online through the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways' Sarathi Parivahan portal.
- Visit sarathi.parivahan.gov.in and select your state.
- Navigate to 'Services on Driving Licence' and choose 'Apply for Duplicate DL'.
- Enter your existing DL number and Date of Birth.
- You must fill out Form LLD and upload necessary documents, including proof of identity and address, and a copy of the FIR if the licence was lost or stolen.
- Pay the prescribed fee, which generally ranges from ₹200 to ₹400.
- After verification, the duplicate licence will be dispatched to your registered address.
