how to apply for smart driving licence

You can apply for a smart driving licence either online through the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) Parivahan Seva website or offline by visiting your nearest Regional Transport Office (RTO).

• Online applicants must first hold a Learner's Licence, then visit the Parivahan portal to apply for a 'New Driving Licence,' upload documents, book a driving test slot, and pay the fee.
• For the offline process, you can obtain and submit the application form at the RTO, pay the requisite fees, and have your photograph and biometrics recorded.
