How long is a learner's license valid?

A learner's license in India is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. During this time, the holder is expected to practice driving under supervision and learn road rules. However, after 30 days of issuance, the learner becomes eligible to apply for a permanent driving license, provided they have gained sufficient driving experience.
