Can we drive a motorcycle with a car licence?

No, you cannot legally drive a motorcycle in India using only a car license. In India, driving licenses are issued for specific vehicle classes. A car license usually falls under the Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) category, whereas motorcycles require a Motor Cycle With Gear (MCWG) or Motor Cycle Without Gear (MCWOG) endorsement. Operating a vehicle category not mentioned on your license is a punishable offense under the Motor Vehicles Act.
