What to write on cheque for neft

When using a cheque to initiate an NEFT transfer at a bank branch, follow these steps:

• In the Pay column, write "Your Bank Name - NEFT" (e.g., HDFC Bank - NEFT).
• Specify the transfer amount in both figures and words.
• Cross the cheque by drawing two parallel lines on the top left corner and writing "Account Payee."
• Sign the cheque as per your bank records.

Ensure you also fill out the NEFT application form with the beneficiary's name, account number, and IFSC code.
