How to pre validate bank account

To pre-validate your bank account on the Income Tax e-Filing portal, follow these steps:
  • Log in to the e-Filing portal using your user ID and password.
  • Navigate to "My Profile" from the dashboard and select "My Bank Account."
  • Click "Add Bank Account" and enter your account number, type, holder type, and IFSC.
  • Ensure your PAN, name, and mobile number match your bank records for successful verification.
  • Click "Validate" to submit the request. Validation typically takes 24 to 48 hours.
