How to cheque

To correctly fill out a cheque in India, ensure all details are clear and accurate to avoid rejection. Follow these essential steps:

• Write the current date in the DD/MM/YYYY format in the designated space.
• Enter the recipient's name accurately next to the word Pay.
• Write the amount in words followed by Only and the numerical value in the box provided.
• Sign the cheque clearly above your name or the Authorised Signatory label.
• Add two parallel lines with A/c Payee on the top left for a secure account transfer.
