How to change address in bank passbook

To change your address in your bank passbook, you must update the address in your bank’s records using one of these methods:
  • Online: Log in to your bank's mobile banking app or internet banking portal. Navigate to Profile Settings, select Update Address, and upload valid address proof.
  • Offline: Visit your home branch and submit a written application to the branch manager. Attach self-attested copies of your new address proof, such as your Aadhaar card or utility bills, along with your original passbook for the update.
Once the bank processes the request, usually within 1–7 working days, your new address will be updated in the system and reflected in your passbook.
