How to get an Aadhaar number with a ration card?

To get an Aadhaar number using a ration card, you must visit an authorized Aadhaar Enrolment Centre. A ration card is an accepted Proof of Identity (PoI) and Proof of Address (PoA) for family members listed on it, provided it contains their photographs. Present the original ration card to the enrolment operator, who will capture your demographic and biometric data (fingerprints, iris scan, and photo). Once verified by UIDAI, your Aadhaar number will be generated and sent to your registered address.
