Synopsis

A spin-off from the Spider-Man film franchise, Venom is intended to be the first film in Sony’s Marvel Universe. The plot revolves around Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy), who becomes host to a sinister alien substance. This substance first made its appearance in Spider Man 3, enhancing the superhero’s powers but eventually, grew into his nemesis Venom. The 2018 film focuses on this anti-hero and more importantly, on the story of a journalist who soon turns into a monster.
