Deepak (Darling Krishna), a software engineer and Pooja (Milana Nagraj), a fashion designer, meet each other on a matrimonial website. Once their honeymoon phase passes, they begin to argue about the silliest of things that crop up when two individuals live together. Things escalate to such an extent that the duo cannot stand each other anymore. They decide to opt for a divorce and approach a lawyer called Maya (Samyukta Hornad). Can Deepak and Pooja ever find their way back to love ever again? Love Birds is a warm tale of an urban couple. Director PC Shekar has taken this slice-of-life story and narrated it with a mix of humour and heartburn. There have been several other films based on similar topics, and this one too treds the predictable path. However, what stands out is the emotional detailing that makes up the issues between young couples. Krishna and Milana impress with their performance as a couple that is very much in love, but are unable to see through their differences. Sadhu Kokila, Veena Sundar and Rangayana Raghu, who play pivotal roles, leave an impact with their performances Samyukta, as the lawyer, is a valuable add-on to the drama. While the cinematic presentation is on point, one would expect a film on relationships, love and romance to have a lot more songs to vibe with.Read more
