Synopsis

Kaala features superstar Rajnikanth in the title role of a powerful don living in the slums of Dharavi in Mumbai. It explores the lives of the Tamilian community living there. This is the second gangster film directed by Pa. Ranjith who had earlier received critical acclaim for his work with Rajnikanth. The film also features Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi.
