Kabir, a 17-year-old living in Sydney, struggles with his cultural identity and a language barrier when his Indian grandmother moves in with him. Initially distant, they bond over music. After his grandmother suffers a cardiac arrest, Kabir resolves to learn Hindi and surprise her with a heartfelt Hindi rap performance at an inter-college festival.
