Synopsis

A biographical drama set in the 1970s, the film follows an automotive visionary Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) and his race car driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale) who are hired to build a revolutionary vehicle for Ford Motor Co. to compete against the race cars of Enzo Ferrari. Together with a group of American engineers and designers from Ford, they unveil the Ford GT40 for a showdown at the "24 Hours of Le Mans" race in France.
