Sonakshi Sinha is an actress who made her debut with the 2010 action-drama film Dabangg. Daughter of actors Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, Sonakshi has explored multiple areas before entering movies. She started her career as a model, walking at the Lakme Fashion Week in 2008. She also worked as a costume designer for films in 2005. She received several awards such as Filmfare and IIFA for her debut performance. Her acting skills were also appreciated in the 2014 film Lootera for which she won the Zee Cine Critics Award for Best Actor- Female.
