Sibiraj made his acting debut with Student Number 1, however, the movie bombed at the box office. He then featured alongside his father Sathyaraj in his next four movies Jore, Mannin Maindhan, Vetrivel Sakthivel, and Kovai Brothers. The actor was then seen in Prabhu Solomon`s 2007 movie Lee where he essayed the character of a footballer. The actor then took a sabbatical from acting and only returned to the big screen after three years with Naanayam in 2010, where he was seen donning the role of a negative character for the first time.
