Jude Law is a celebrated English actor who rose to fame with the 1999 thriller The Talented Mr. Ripley for which he also won the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Law attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has appeared in three films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: The Aviator, Hugo and The Grand Budapest Hotel. In 2007, he received an Honorary César and was named a knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government, in recognition of his contribution to World Cinema Arts.
