Elizabeth Banks is an American filmmaker, model and actress who rose to worldwide popularity with the role of Effie Trinket in the Hunger Games film series. She made her film debut in the low-budget independent film Surrender Dorothy and went on to appear in films like Wet Hot American Summer, Seabiscuit, The 40-Year Old Virgin, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, the Spiderman trilogy and Love & Mercy.
