Synopsis

Bhool Bhulaiyaa is an Indian horror-comedy with jump scares, and bloody and gory violence. Based on the legend of Manjulika, it follows Siddharth (Shiney Ahuja) and Avni (Vidya Balan), who return to India from the United Stated to stay in an ancestral home that may or may not be haunted. The film has significant scary and spooky elements though much of it is discussed rather than shown and the comedic tone softens the impact.
