Synopsis

August 16, 1947, which is produced by A.R. Murugadoss, Om Prakash Bhatt and Narsiram Choudhary and co-produced by Aditya Joshi.The film is set in a village where one brave man battles the British forces for the sake of love during the cusp of Indian Independence. Starring Gautham Karthik, Revathy, Pugazh amongst others, it has been directed by NS Ponkumar. August 16, 1947 will arrive in cinemas all over in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam and English.
