Synopsis

A prequel to Annabelle and the fourth installment in the Conjuring series, Annabelle: Creation is one of the most awaited supernatural films of the year. In 1945, toy maker Sam Mullins and his wife, Esther grieve the death of their 5-year-old daughter Annabelle who had died in a car accident. An unknown identity, convinces them to transpose its essence into one of Samuel’s porcelain dolls. Soon, they realize that they had summoned a demon looking for a host body. They take the possessed doll and lock it into a closet in their daughter’s room. Years later, the couple welcomes a nun and six orphaned girls into their California farmhouse. Terror soon strikes when a child sneaks into the forbidden room and finds a seemingly innocent doll that appears to have a life of its own.
