Agreement to Terms & Conditions
  1. By participating in the #CricketAndTravelSuperfan (Contest) the Participant unconditionally agrees to abide by the applicable these terms and conditions.
  2. Paytm reserve the right to exclude any person from the Contest on grounds of misconduct (whether proven or alleged) or criminal record. Paytm’ decision shall be final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Successfully entering the Contest and winning a prize is subject to fulfilment of all requirements set forth herein
  3. Paytm reserve the right, without prejudice to their other rights in law, to reclaim the Prize, if any person is found guilty of misconduct at any later period
  4. Paytm has the sole authority concerning the interpretation of this Terms and conditions document.
  5. Paytm reserves the right to cancel/amend/extend the Contest Period and the Contest Terms and Conditions without giving any notice/intimation. No claims/questions shall be entertained in this regard.
  6. In addition, any cancellation, standard booking and privacy policy terms as provided on the Paytm & Virgin Atlantic platform shall apply.
Eligibility
To be eligible to be a winner the User has to:
  1. Share / re-tweet the “Travel Dhamaka Sale” post shared by official Paytm Travel handle on 10th May 2019 on their Facebook page / Twitter handle
  2. Write his/ her message to cheer team India for Cricket World Cup'19 in comments section of the post shared by official Paytm Travel handle on 10th May 2019 maximum by 15th May 2019 midnight.
  3. Book at least one successful travel ticket booking (Flight or Bus or Train) on 15th May 2019 (during the Travel Dhamaka Sale) on Paytm App / Web to be eligible for the winner selection
Contest Period & Winner Selection
  1. The Contest is valid from 07:00 pm Indian Standard Time (hereinafter referred to as “IST”) on 10th May 2019 till 23:59 IST on 15th May 2019 (hereinafter referred to as “Contest Period”)
  2. Names of 30 Lucky winners (from the combined entries received on Facebook page and Twitter handle) will be announced on 16th May 2019 on by Paytm Travel on its Social Media platform (Facebook & Twitter). Each winner will get 2 flight vouchers worth Rs.1000 each from Paytm
  3. All 30 winners will have to share with Paytm their order ID of flight/bus/train ticket booked on 15th May 2019 and the scan copies of their Passport (first and last pages) as ID proof for self and travel partner within 24 hours of announcement. These details are to be sent by all 30 winners on or before 17th May 2019 midnight to the official Paytm Travel Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/paytmtravel/) or Twitter handle (https://twitter.com/PaytmTravel) through DM (Direct Message). Please do not share any personal data or booking details on public forum. All information should be sent through DM only. In case winner is not able to send required documents by 17th May 2019 midnight their flight vouchers will stand cancelled
  4. Out of the 30 selected winners 1 Lucky winner would be getting 2 free Cricket World Cup 2019 match tickets to any one of the matches played by India along with free round trip flight tickets for 2 people to London on Virgin Atlantic to watch the match. The name of the one lucky winner will be announced by Paytm Travel on social media on 20th May 2019. The decision of Paytm shall be final
  5. All other expenses concerning accommodation, visa charges, land transportation etc. shall be borne by the Winner. Paytm shall only take the cost of the return airfare and the match ticket
  6. Winner should provide valid passport details of the 2 passengers who would be availing the prize before 21st May 2019, failing which the winner will be disqualified. The decision of Paytm shall be final
  7. All transfers will be as per the airport guidelines. Also, any expenses incurred as a result of such transfers or any other incidental and/or ancillary actions shall be borne by the Winner
  8. This offer is non-encashable and non-refundable
  9. Paytm employees and family members are not eligible to participate for the 2 free Cricket World Cup 2019 match tickets to any one of the matches played by India along with free round trip flight tickets for 2 people to London on Virgin Atlantic to watch the match t. However they would be eligible to get the 2 flight vouchers worth Rs. 1000 each
Release and Limitations of Liability
  1. Paytm is not responsible for any deficiency and/ or defect in, or relating to, any service and/or the Prizes or for any kind of consequential damages/ loss, in any manner howsoever caused as a result of acceptance of any Prizes
  2. By entering the Contest, the Participant hereby releases and agrees to indemnify Paytm from and against all liability, cost, loss or expenses arising out of acceptance of the Prizes or participation in the Contest including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct, indirect, consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission, or otherwise as well as any legal expenditure
  3. The Participant shall be solely responsible for any adverse consequences which may arise due to his/her participation in the Contest. Participant also undertakes to indemnify Paytm and/or their respective officers, directors, employees and agents on the happening of an adverse an event (including without limitation cost of attorney, legal charges etc.) on full indemnity basis for any loss/damage suffered by Paytm on account of such act on the part of the Participant
  4. Paytm absolutely disclaims any damages and/or claims as a result of any loss that arise due to a force majeure event
  5. In case of any unforeseen circumstances that arise which results in the cancellation, calamities or any other incidents, Paytm expressly disclaims any liability for the same
Publicity
  1. The Participant/s undertake and irrevocably and unconditionally permit Paytm to cover the Contest through various media/platforms inter alia newspapers, radio, television, news channels, internet, point of sale materials, etc. Participant shall not raise any objection, protest or demur to such coverage and their use of name, voice, likeness, image, illustrations etc. by Paytm in this regard
  2. The World Cup Prize winner and Flight Ticket vouchers winners shall, at the request of Paytm participate in all Contest related activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the Prizes free of charge, and they consent to Paytm using their name and image in Contest material
Intellectual Property
  1. All rights, title and interest, including but not limited to the intellectual property rights, in the Contest material(s) and in any and all responses received shall vest with Paytm. Paytm or any person or entity permitted by Paytm in this regard shall be entitled to use the responses received or any information in connection with the entry in any media/platform for future contest, marketing, publicity and any other purpose, without any permission and or payment to the Participant/ Winners
  2. All material submitted in connection with the Contest (whether written, audio, electronic or visual form, or a combination of those) are assigned to Paytm upon submission and become the property of Paytm exclusively. Paytm may use the material in any medium in any reasonable manner it deems fit. Copyright in any such material remains the sole property of Paytm and Paytm may use such material in any medium in any manner it deems fit
  3. By participating in the Contest, Participant unequivocally and explicitly understands and agrees to the aforementioned clauses
    4. Dispute
    The Contest is subject to all applicable Central, State and Local Laws and Regulations in India. The courts of competent jurisdiction at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any and all disputes arising out of, or in connection with, the Contest. Participation in the Contest is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including (without limitation) this clause.

    Further, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms & Conditions, or the rights and obligations of the Participants and/or Paytm with respect to this Contest shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

    1. User has to book at least one successful travel ticket booking (Flight or Bus or Train) on 15th May 2019 through the Paytm App/ Web to be eligible for the offer.
    2. Winners will be announced on 20th May 2019.
