Chalo

Cast: Lin Shaye, Leigh Whannell, Angus Sampson

Tollywood heartthrob Naga Shourya will be seen romancing Kannada star Rashmika Mandanna in this youthful love entertainer. The story of Chalo is set in a village called “Tiruppuram”. Divided into Tamil and Telugu populations, the village faces strong territorial issues. Having made a mark through box-office hits like Oohalu Gusagusalade and Jyo Achyutananda, Naga Shourya is all set to woo the audience again. The film is directed by debutant Venky Kudumula and is produced under Naga Shourya’s home banner Ira Creations.

Touch Chesi Chudu

Cast: Lin Shaye, Leigh Whannell, Angus Sampson

Directed by newcomer Vikram Sirikonda, Touch Chesi Chudu features Ravi Teja at his adventurous best. Packed with impressive action elements, the film revolves around the struggle of two lovers trying to convince their parents to accept their relationship. Sara and Shyam, hailing from different religious backgrounds face a series of hurdles in order to continue being with each other. Ravi Teja plays a powerful cop and is seen on an amazing action ride throughout the movie. The film’s music, composed by Pritam, is already starting to gain popularity.

Padman

After the massive success of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, superstar Akshay Kumar is back to entertain audiences with the unique story of Padman. Directed by R. Balki, the movie revolves around the real life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist. This biographical comedy shows how an ordinary man became popular by inventing low-cost sanitary napkin making machines. Watch how India’s “pagla superhero” brings about a revolution in the country!

Aiyaary

Featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee in lead roles, Aiyaary is a crime drama. The film is directed by the extremely talented Neeraj Pandey who has made some striking movies like A Wednesday, Special 26, Baby and M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. Aiyaary is a real life story based on the relationship of a mentor and protege. It is dedicated to military troops and their brave families. Tholi Prema

Tholi Prema is a romantic entertainer starring Varun Tej and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles. Filled with comic moments, the film is entertaining and gripping. Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Suhasini Maniratnam will be seen playing prominent roles as the movie progresses. Directed by Venky Atluri the film is produced under B. V. S. N. Prasad’s banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.

Kanam

Kanam means. “embryo” in English, is a dark tale featuring Naga Shourya as the male lead. Dancer-actor Sai Pallavi would be seen as the female lead along with child artist Veronika Arora. The story revolves around the theme of abortion and the supernatural events haunting the life of a four-year old child and her mother. Produced by Lyca Productions and directed by A. L. Vijay, Kanam offers plenty of shock and surprise as the story progresses.

Idi Naa Love Story

Cast: Lin Shaye, Leigh Whannell, Angus Sampson

Directors M. Ramesh and Gopi Krisna are all set to entertain audiences with the Telugu remake of a 2013 Kannada film. The story follows a girl’s attempts in helping her brother fall in love with a girl she knows. However, things take an unexpected turn as the brother falls for someone else.

Black Panther

The film is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War. Based on the comic-book superhero Black Panther, the story begins with King T'Challa’s return to the technologically advanced, fictional African nation of Wakanda. However, he soon discovers that there are conspiracies to destroy Wakanda before he can take over as a leader. In order to protect his throne and to prevent a world war, T’Challa/ the Black Panther must team up with new allies. The film features Chadwick Boseman in the title role with Lupita Nyong’O playing the character Nakia, T’Challa’s former lover, now an undercover operative.

Naachiyar

Composer-actor G. V. Prakash Kumar will be seen in an unusual new look opposite Jyothika Saravanan who plays the role of a bold police officer. The music of the film is composed by maestro Ilaiyaraaja. Directed by Bala, known for revolutionising Tamil cinema, Naachiyar is packed with exciting car chases and thrilling plot angles. Bala is also known for his obsession with highlighting life’s darkness impeccably, having won the National Award for the 2009 film Naan Kadavul.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety

Director Luv Ranjan, known best for Pyaar ka Punchnama and its sequel is back with a fun-filled take on the concept of marriage in the current era. The story explores the concept of love creating a war between “bromance” and “romance.” Instead of the conventional idea that marriage needs the approval of a family, the film highlights how a marriage also needs the approval of your friend circle! On one hand, Titu and Sweety, the protagonists, prepare to spend their lives together. On the other, Titu’s best friend Sonu is adamant on splitting the two lovers. This leads to comical situations that promise fun moments all throughout.

Insidious: The Last Key

Set before the first three installments of the Insidious franchise, Insidious: The Last Key is the fourth supernatural horror film in the series. This time, parapsychologist Elise Rainier will face the most fearsome encounter yet as she goes on to New Mexico to investigate supernatural disturbances occurring in a family's home. This is also the house in which she used to live during her youth. The movie will showcase the incidents diving her deeper into ‘The Further.’ Directed by Adam Robitel, the movie stars Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson, Leigh Whannell, Josh Stewart and Caitlin Gerard.

Agnyaathavaasi

Cast: Pawan Kalyan, Keerthi Suresh, Anu Emmanuel

Agnyaathavaasi is Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s 25th movie. He has previously delivered blockbuster movies like Tholi Prema, Gopala Gopala, Gabbar Singh, Gokulamlo Seetha, Tammadu and Badri. Pawan Kalyan will be seen portraying the role of a rich businessman whose family is wiped out by the villain. With this new project that comes from the holy ghats of Varanasi, we can expect a high dose of action including some daredevil stunts. The movie features Keerthy Suresh and Annu Emmanuel as the female leads. Actor Parag Tyagi who was seen in A Wednesday and Phhir is making his big Tollywood debut with this movie. Produced by Kalyan’s home production PK Creatives Works, the movie is helmed by ace director Trivikram.

Kaalakaandi

Delhi Belly director Akshat Verma is back with a black comedy, Kaalakaandi. Featuring Saif Ali Khan in the lead role, the movie also stars Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala and Deepak Dobriyal. The thrill begins when Saif’s character is diagnosed with stomach cancer. His doctor advises him of going all out and doing whatever he wanted to in life. The movie talks of hope, greed, love and lust- through different characters and their stories. Watch out the sizzling item number by Amyra Dastur adding oodles of glamour.

Wish Upon

John R Leonetti’s supernatural movie Wish Upon is written by Barbara Marshall. The story revolves around an unhappy teenage girl Claire Shannon. Her life takes a turn when her dad finds a mysterious box inscribed with Chinese characters. It's a wishing box that grants its owner seven wishes and every time a wish comes true, somebody dies. Watch out for this story to find out the enigmatic evil entity.

Mukkabaaz

Cast: Vineeth Kumar, Jimmy Shergill, Ravi Kishan

Anurag Kashyap’s Mukkabaaz features Vineet Kumar Singh of Gangs Of Wasseypur fame and debutant Zoya Hussain in the lead roles. Based in Uttar Pradesh, this sports drama is the story of a lower-caste aspiring boxer, Shravan who trains under the upper-caste don played by Jimmy Shergill. Shravan falls for Mishra’s niece Sunaina, but Brahmin Mishra does not approve of the match. A package of drama, action and romance, the film has already won accolades over film festivals all over the world.

Thaanaa Serndha Koottam

Cast: Suriya, Keerthi Suresh, RJ Balaji

Featuring superstar Suriya in the lead role, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam is a heist comedy film directed by Vignesh Shivan. This is the first collaboration of the actor-director duo. The movie also stars Keerthy Suresh, Suresh Menon, Thambi Ramaiah, Ramya Krishnan and veteran comedian Senthil. The movie promises entertainment like never before with a perfect festive feel. This is going to be Suriya’s 35th movie.

The story revolves around the CIA paramilitary officers and U.S Special Forces sent to Afghanistan after 9/11 attacks. The saga features Chris Hemsworth, Michael Shannon, Michael Pena, Navid Negahban, Elsa Pataky and Trevante Rhodes who will be seen fighting against the Taliban forces.
