We have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Bihar International Trade Organisation (BITO) at the Samriddh Bihar Conclave 2026.
The LOI was signed by Mr. Amaresh Mishra, General Secretary, BITO, on behalf of BITO Industries Association (BIA), and Abhay Sharma, Chief Operating Officer, Public Sector Business at Paytm, in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of Food Processing Industries Shri Chirag Paswan Ji, Founder of BITO.
Through this partnership, we will work together to accelerate the adoption of mobile payments infrastructure across Bihar. The initiative will enable merchants with our pioneering QR codes, Soundbox devices and card machines, supporting small businesses, retailers and enterprises in accepting payments seamlessly. Leveraging BITO’s network, the partnership will drive on-ground expansion across key trade hubs and local markets. We also plans to extend payment acceptance infrastructure across institutional and public service ecosystems in Bihar, enabling more seamless services for citizens.
“Small businesses are the backbone of Bihar’s economy, and enabling them with the right tools is critical for their growth. Through this partnership with Paytm, we are taking a significant step towards equipping merchants with easy-to-use payment solutions that enhance efficiency, improve customer experience and open new growth opportunities,” said BITO Spokesperson.
“We appreciate BITO’s leadership in strengthening Bihar’s business ecosystem. Together, we will enable merchants and institutions with trusted mobile payment solutions that make payments faster, more seamless and easier to manage,” said Paytm Spokesperson.
