Our actions today shape the world of tomorrow. This belief goes beyond our technology and innovation, it extends into how we show up for our communities and the environment. Recently, Paytmers stepped out from behind their screens to create meaningful, real-world impact, reinforcing our commitment to environmental sustainability and collective responsibility.
Our CSR arm, Paytm Foundation, partnered with Chennai Volunteers to organise a beach clean-up drive at Ashtalakshmi Temple Beach in Chennai. In parallel, a Cleanathon Drive was also conducted at the National Military Memorial Park in Bengaluru, in association with the Namma Bengaluru Foundation. These initiatives brought everyone together with a shared purpose: to protect our natural spaces and promote sustainable practices.

The beach clean-up drive began with an orientation session led by the Chennai Volunteers team, who highlighted the growing threat of marine pollution; the alarming rise in plastic waste along coastlines; and the critical role individuals play in environmental conservation. Volunteers actively engaged with beachgoers, spreading awareness about responsible waste disposal and the importance of preserving marine ecosystems.
They collected large quantities of plastic wrappers, bottles, glass pieces, and other non-biodegradable waste that pose serious risks to marine life and coastal biodiversity. The Cleanathon Drive in Bengaluru echoed the same spirit of action, demonstrating how collaborative efforts can create tangible environmental impact.
The dedication and enthusiasm of every individual throughout these drives was truly inspiring. Their willingness to contribute time and effort reflects the strong sense of purpose embedded in our culture.
Together, we remain committed to building a cleaner, greener future through continuous CSR initiatives and volunteer-driven programs. We believe that small actions, when multiplied by many, can lead to lasting change.
