Sustainability and community engagement are at the heart of our efforts. While technology helps drive innovation, we also believe it is equally important to contribute positively to the environment and the communities around us. Our CSR arm, Paytm Foundation, organised a tree-planting drive in Ahmedabad at Gokul Ashram Shala, in collaboration with Youth for Seva. Gokul Ashram Shala is a residential school that supports children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by providing education and a nurturing environment for their development.
Paytmers came together to participate in a meaningful initiative aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and building a greener future. The initiative reflected our commitment to environmental conservation while demonstrating the power of employee-driven community engagement.
The volunteers started the activity by preparing the soil for plantation, while the students enthusiastically joined them, making it a truly collaborative and joyful experience. Together, they planted saplings across the school premises, contributing towards a greener and healthier campus.
After planting the trees, they watered the saplings, marking the beginning of their growth journey. The activity fostered teamwork, environmental awareness, and a shared sense of responsibility among everyone involved.
The event concluded on a cheerful note with refreshments served to the children. Moving ahead, they also took the responsibility to nurture and care for the plants in the future, ensuring that the effort made today blossoms into a greener tomorrow.
Through such initiatives, we continue to work towards creating long-term impact across education, healthcare, sustainability, and empowerment, furthering its mission of building shared value for society.
